The Test Anxiety Seminar has been rescheduled for Thursday, December 6 from 11:30 to 12:30 in the U Mo Ho Room of the MBSC. This free luncheon will focus on identifying test anxiety and managing its symptoms.
A Finals Week Preparation Seminar has been scheduled for Thursday December 13 from 11:30 to 12:30 in Dodge Room A. This free luncheon will focus on effective study habits, test taking tips, and managing anxiety.
And speaking of anxiety . . .
Well, not really anxiety, but there are some changes in the works for Maverickland in the near future (I hope.) We may be moving the site's location, and that will mean a new look, too. As things develop . . . .
UNO PRSSA Launches Toys for Tots Drive
Who: University of Nebraska at Omaha Public Relations Student Society of America chapter and the School of Communication
What: U.S. Marine’s Toys for Tots drive.
When: Dec. 1 to Dec. 21
Where: Arts and Sciences Hall 140 on UNO campus
Why: To provide new toys to needy children in the Omaha area
Notes: The Toys for Tots goal is to deliver a message of hope to needy children in the area through a new toy. In 58 years, Toys for Tots has distributed more than 300 million toys to needy children. All toys should be new and unwrapped.
