Epistemology-Fest 2007
The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Philosophy Program will hold Epistemology-Fest 2007 on Saturday Oct. 27. Four professors will give presentations between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. in 306 Arts and Science Hall.
The presenters and their topics:
David Henderson, Robert R. Chambers Distinguished Professor of Philosophy and the Moral Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, will present “Motivated Contextualism;”
William Roche, an assistant professor at Texas Christian University, will present “Coherentism and the Ambiguity of ‘Justify;’”
Joshua Smith, assistant professor at Central Michigan University, will present “Skepticism and the Knowledge Account of Assertion;” and
William Melanson, assistant professor at UNO, will present “the Right to be Sure.”
